Chili Peppers originated in the Americas. After the Columbian Exchange it was popularized all over the world. Today it is thought that India is the worlds largest grower, consumer, and exporter of chili peppers in the world.

Garlic fun fact we found: Fresher garlic is harder to peel than older garlic. Garlic is also good for heart and circulation health. Garlic is pretty awesome! Carrots are thought to have their origins in Iran and Afghanistan, but are native to both Europe and South West Asia.
Because of it's sugar content carrots were used as a sweetener during medieval times. |
